The Earth Day Expo is the place to celebrate Earth Day, to discover healthy alternatives, and to learn about the dedicated efforts of businesses, non-profits and government to promote a “greener” southeast Michigan. The public is welcome to join with other consumers, homeowners, business-owners, families, and students who interested in learning about wellness and earth-friendly living, and to help make the connection between healthy products, people, and planet.

Upland Hills Ecological Awareness Center is a 501(c)(3) charitable, non-profit organization, founded over 30 years ago. It is located in northern Oakland County and is the only designated Michigan Energy Demonstration Center in the area. It provides experiences and resources that teach and promote healthy and sustainable relationship with the natural world and each other. The Center facility is a model of energy-efficiency, ecological intention and renewable energy applications, including wind and solar electricity, solar thermal, passive solar design, and a living 'green' roof.
